Your Realtor will work with you to draw up an offer. They will explain all the different options you have and how to present the offer. They will explain all the different contingencies & conditions; the inspections you should have; how to get financing if you don’t have it yet; escrow and Title Companies. They will then get you to sign your offer once they have it drawn up.

There may be some negotiation and counter offers from the seller and there may also be other people making an offer on the same property. It is important to work with your Realtor on this. They will keep you informed at every step of the way and only have your best interest at heart.

Once your offer is accepted it is normally conditional upon inspections such as property inspections and wood destroying insect inspections. Your Realtor will liaise with local Bryan & College Station licensed inspectors to arrange inspections for you.

Our Own Home!

Finally when you are completely satisfied with all the inspections and all conditions of the offer have been met, your offer will go “unconditional” and all that needs to be arranged is the date to hand over the title to you. On that day your Realtor will meet you in one of the local Bryan & College Station Title Companies where you will sign the necessary paperwork and take home the keys to your new Bryan/College Station home!
